Gelorup Market is held every first Sunday of the month from 8 am to 12 noon.
Located at the Gelorup Community Hall on Hastie Road, this market has indoor as well as outdoor stalls selling second hand goods and craft to fresh fruit and vegetables.
It has been operating for nearly twenty years and has a faithful following of regular stall holders and customers.
One of the smaller monthly markets in the area, it has the advantage of being well located (just off Bussell Highway).
The Bali charity group “Strong Angels” enjoy a significant presence in this market through their op-shop, antique stall, cake stall as well as coffee, tea & scones cafe (scones freshly baked in the premises & served with fresh cream!).
As a result of the above, potential stall-holders may find that obtaining a stall space in the main hall can be a challenge to organise compared to the outdoor area. All enquiries for the same may be directed to the market organiser John Kus on 97957799 or email at johnkus1@westnet.com.au. (John is also the contact person for Dalyellup Markets held every third Sunday of the month.)
Customers looking for bargains as well as market stall finds, with a place to enjoy a cuppa will find Gelorup Markets a good place to visit. Market stallers prepared to start off with a modest turnover may find this a suitable launch pad for their products.
8/8/17 (NOTE: handmade -and-marina is no longer operating a stall at Gelorup Markets. After nearly 6 years, it has been time to say goodbye. Regulars please note that I will still be available at the following monthly markets.)
