As the year draws to a close, I’m pleased to say that I will now be a regular at the Busselton Foreshore Markets (Signal Park) every third Sunday of the month from January 2017. I attended the November one to a great start and was very impressed at how it was being run by the organisers Rob and Sandra. There were many familiar and friendly faces in other stall-holders as well as customers. It was also great to make some new connections and interact with the locals as well as passing visitors to the south-west.

Boyanup Farmers Market which is one of my new additions continues to be a great place for people to have access to my products. Unfortunately, I was unable to attend it this month as it clashed with the  Stirling Street Art Centre Christmas Fair which happened to be on the same day. These are the times I wish I could be at two places at the same time. Or realistically speaking have someone else represent my stall while I’m elsewhere. But the truth is I don’t produce enough stock to spread around at two separate venues. I guess that’s part of the deal of being small scale. And at present, I am liking it this way.

I will be back at Boyanup Farmers Market in December and bear in mind that it will be held on the 3rd Sunday and not the usual 4th Sunday. I am looking forward to stocking up on some cherries from the Cherry Valley Farm & macadamias from Bill and Del Nuske’s macadamia. And not to forget my summer garden mulching, get some pea straw delivered by Alex who is always available with his truck at these markets.

At the recent Stirling Street Christmas Fair, I was able to showcase a new stock of eri silk scarves and shawls. I sold a few of them and still have some left if you are looking for something special for yourself or a friend. They range from $65 to $100. Drop in to my stall to check out these and also my new line of my coptic bound journals (also available online) and natural eco-dyed eri scarves.

Lastly, I’d like to wish you all a wonderful Christmas season. May it be a peace-filled and joyful one and may 2017 be good to you!
